Giving Tuesday
We make a living by what we get, we make a live by what we give.
National Day of Giving takes place on Tuesday,
Nov 29th 22.
National Day of Giving is organized and celebrated each year with the simple aim of encouraging individuals, families, schools, businesses, and other organizations to give to the less fortunate.
National Day of Giving was created when two organizations, the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation came together in 2012, about a month before that year’s Thanksgiving.
Their intention was to set aside a day that was all about celebrating the generosity of giving, a great American tradition.
Hunger is not just a problem for those who don't eat, it's about us too. Not everyone can access nutritious food easily every day.
There are those who really need it but so hard to get it. It's as if they don't try, don't try, and a lot of negative things we say about it.
But the obstacle is like looking at caste, race, status.
#givingtuesday
On this very special day, help us to feed people. Make it easier for less fortunate people to get nutritious food.
Hunger is still a global problem. And together we can fight hunger.
No matter how much you donate, it means a lot. Hand in hand, help each other, and together we can change the world.
Use this #givingtuesday to be a proof of the real action you took
